Everything I am is because of the Lord and I give all the glory to Him. The simple truth is God will take care of you. Take the leap of faith, ask Jesus into your heart, accept His gift of grace, trust and live for Him. Psalm 59:16 "But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble." I am a singer/songwriter playing for the sheer joy of it. I've been finding peace singing at my piano all my life. I'm happy to sing and play for my supper anytime. :)

Story behind the song
I was blessed by Verla's race before she "crossed her finish line" in July of this year (2008). She had a three year battle with cancer and her eyes stayed fixed on the finish line. Out of something difficult came something good. Her faith inspires others to run the race and cross the finish line. Her family shares her strength and faith in the Lord.
