Story behind the song
Our motivation for "Life Begins" was being blessed with the birth of our first daughter, Briley Jo. The lyrics tells the story of a daddy loving, protecting and teaching his child. We wrote this song in Long Island New York back in 1994. "Life Begins" is an up tempo pop rock tune with full vocals and funking horn arrangements. It took us about a month to write and record this song in our studio. I sang lead and backrounds and Tracey sang backrounds on it. I recorded all the instruments using midi keyboards, modules, Digital Performer and mastered using ProTools LE. This song and this cd "Planet Good Life" was a blessing.
