Lyrics
Not in a sense of direction Following no path or guide Just a hunch to a light of perception Straight through the mindless trail that lies. Into the infinite Is there an end to it? Stars dot the blackened sky Reminding me of reality So much to conquer here So little time to reach that goal. Into the infinite Into the infinite. Counting the days gone by Does it matter, does age exist anymore Life comes to a standstill To wake and find what’s beyond the door. Into the infinite Can I get through it? Will I lose my sanity? What will become of me? A home left behind so long ago Without one that’s guaranteed. Into the infinite Will I get through it? Copyright © 2008 - Bob Forbes

A majestic, dreamy intro, followed by a psychedelic rock verse and chorus. This is really impressive. The interlude after verse one is absolutely beautiful. Everything is so well played and sung, really a "tour de force" without being show off, just wonderful musicianship all over. The lyrics reflect that feeling of no direction, that each of us have to find our own path and rely on our intuition to tell us where to go. And age will not bring the answer, only confirm that there are no road signs showing the easy way out...

I like the vibe this song has, kind of, ethereal and magical all at the same time. Awesome vocals and guitar work, brilliant production, love the way it seems to span several genres from prog rock to psychedelic.

Wow, this is very exiting. Mysterious with tensions everywhere. Could be a soundtrack for a thriller, especially the first part. Such a special sound mix as well, so spacey...... And a kind of retro feeling to the 70's for me. I have to think of Vangelis while listening...... Surprising! And it's already so old!

Beautiful mesmerizing musical intro that spawns into a utterly enthralling rock/trance song. The mix is fantastic. Bravo guys.

Your music is so beautifully hypnotic. I am very impressed with all the songs that I have heard here. I see you are from New Mexico. What is it like there??? Have you been to Roswell? I am wanting to go to the UFO museum, or whatever they have there to see.

Bob, love this track. Enticing intro with magical organ and synth sounds and man, that's some deep bass. Agree with Paul that your voice works really well on this rockier number. On the last line of the first verse your voice reminded me of someone and it's bugging me, I can't work out who it is. Like the change of pace at about 2:45 and some really nice synth sounds there. Very spacey. Sensational solo. Nicely crafted lyrics and a real hook in the "into the infinite". Great work. Sorry it took me so long to get here. Cheers Brian

Great to hear you singing on a more rockier song Bob, and I like the way your voice is mixed into this. A really cool prog rock song that reminded me a little of Yes in places. Top playing all round as I would expect :) and excellent production from Pascal. Oh, and really good lyrics too :)
