A deceptively upbeat song about what happens when you don't get to resolve a conflict before someone passes away.

Lyrics
Could've been the perfect day A sunny afternoon cliche' But you didn't want to talk it over The weather got a little colder Soakin' up the mellow mood Suddenly I'm all confused It's a little misunderstanding But complications get so demanding again My friend... (CHORUS) If that's just the way that it is I want the way that it isn't Something's comin' over you The conversation's overdue But you didn't wanna say you were sorry Now there's a chance that they might never see you again My friend... (REPEAT CHORUS) That's not the way that I want it That's not the way that I like it to be... Fuck the rainbow Fuck the flowers Fuck the roses Fuck the bluebird...
