Lyrics
Travel is far and wide, and existence is unknown. The reason for my livings tried, for it might not always be known. How much farther must I go, to the void that I see before me. How much longer I survive, in a life without any meaning. Can I feel the light - will I live 'til tomorrow. The end should bring a sign - there will be no more sorrow. Distance is undetermined, and life is only known - In a place where I once lived long ago. A memory that will be soon gone. I want to laugh - then to tears, the senses are all confusing. Moment of delight, and then of delusion. My conscience is ever faltering. Can I feel the light - I live for tomorrow. The end should bring a sign - in time that I borrow. Copyright 2008 - Bob Forbes

Great lyrics with a tender emotional delivery, super all round song, enjoyed the listen.

This could have been one Phil Collins' best songs! Your vocal really shines on this one and the lead guitar is also amazing. The lyrics are also really heavy stuff, dealing with life and death and how to find a light in the darkest hour. A wonderful piece of music, Bob! Another favourite!

I liked this one Bob, good that you pointed to it! Has a great intro and the whole production is fine. I only missed your exceptional vocal layers technique (mixing) here, it is not at the same high level as in your actual (new) songs my friend, but I like this one as well. Nice melody and a superb guitar lead part ( great one at about 3:34 towards the end)! Cheers to the music!!

Big fan of the pipe organ vibe this opens with, and the smooth vocals carry it to the next level, overall a very cool Prog Pop aura that makes for some great guitar breaks

Actually a very nice tune. Drums are good. A real treat.
Much better drums than I could ever manage. Great keys as well, and everything sits so well in the mix, though you could turn them drums up a smidge ;) But the vocals and that ending solo steal the show of course. A well crafted song about the great unknown.

Beautifully melodic and a masterful production as always, you have an unmistakeable style and sound, a very ambitious creation with a lot of tenderness in the vocal delivery and then that awesome guitar joins the arrangement and rocks the mix to a new dimension, clever and accomplished playing Redeye, adding to 'colour of sound' station! Way to go!!
