Lyrics
Beautiful Dragonfly (c) Andy Pearce 2008 Anne: Welcome to St Thomas's, its nice to meet you both Elsie & Francis: Oh its so good to get here, just as we imagined. Anne: Welcome to St Thomas's, let me show you where you are Elsie & Francis: Its just as we imagined. Anne: Your bed is here. There's always someone on hand to help. Elsie: You've everything you need, dear? Francis: I'm happy now Anne: You can go outside, if you're up to it, and sit on the patio Elsie: Oh, look at the garden, Francis: And the flower beds. Anne: We get rabbits in the morning, and we're sometimes honoured by a visit from our beautiful Dragonfly Elsie: I can't tell you how relieved we were to find a free bed here Anne: It changes day to day, we can't plan. But sadly, unexpected places do come up, sometimes. Elsie: She's my only daughter. I hate to see her like this. The other place was awful. Here she has hope. Anne: Its good that Francis is still so optimistic. They find it harder when they have no hope. Elsie: Well there's only so much we can do now. At least she's got the garden when she wakes. Maybe your dragonfly can help her climb to heaven (instrumental interlude) Elsie: Have you got what you need, dear? Frances: I'm happy now Anne: We know how to control your pain Elsie: Have you got what you need, dear? Frances: I'll be fine. Anne: Your quality of life is our concern. Elsie: Look at that garden, Francis: and the flower beds. Anne: Oh, look, on the lawn; there's our beautiful Dragonfly
