We started out in 2005, as a two-piece, me and a friend, I played rhythm guitar and he was on drums. We started writing music and then I got my brother to join on bass. At the time we were called Strych9 and then we got our lead guitarist and vocalist after which we changed our name to Arc of the Fallen Angel and then finally to Saints of the Fallen. The band broke up and now this is just a moniker for myself, I go by St.Fallen.

Story behind the song
I recalled a story I read as a boy, I thought it was The Nutcracker, which is how the song got its name. Only later did I realise it was the steadfast tin soldier.
Lyrics
It was a cold Christmas eve I came to you through him We stood beneath the Christmas tree I don't know why I found it hard to breathe I couldn't help but look at you I felt like my eyes were glued And then he came to take me away He broke my leg and threw me away I couldn't help but look at you As my eyes came unglued Falling to the floor They land beside you I maybe miles away But I still see you Goodnight Goodbye I bid farewell to you tonight But I swear fate will cross our paths again He put me on a paperboat And set me out to sea Floating in the drains Muddy & murky I found a new home Inside the bowels of a beast It wasn't long before they set me free And as I said before Fate crossed our paths once more Would you take my hand And help me stand By your side Just for tonight Goodnight Goodbye I bid farewell to you tonight But I swear fate will cross our paths again Goodnight Goodbye I bid farewell to you tonight But I swear fate will cross our paths again And again And again And again And again
