I play guitar and sing against backings that I have created using various software tools. I am therefore a home recorder primarily concerned with minting decent recordings of my own songs rather than a performer.

Story behind the song
This song came to me with a few chords and the strapline 'Over You'. Obviously it had to be about the end of a relationship and so the lyrics grew from that. The song is not particularly complex and so there isn't much to say about it really. I hope someone listens and enjoys it. Please don't forget to rate it if you do.
Lyrics
I remember the dawning, of the first morning The time when everything was new I recalled your first smile, could see your lack of guile I drank in the wonder of you An’ I couldn’t believe it true I’d found you I can remember we were poor, when we were never sure A time when only sex would do You said you needed me, you said eternally Together we would make it through An’ I never had a clue What you’d do I only ever wanted to be fair with you I only ever wanted to be there with you Not lost and blue Over you So I’m here now this morning, the reality is dawning This time, I know we’re through I know now that you lied, no matter that I tried I wonder at the drunk in you An’ I can’t believe it’s true I’ve lost you I only ever wanted what was right with you I never thought that I would ever fight with you Or break in two Over you
