Solo act playing original and cover material on 12-string and keyboards. Available for booking in Central Oklahoma.
I have been playing and writing songs for more years than most of you have been alive. I started classical piano when I was 8, 12-string guitar when I was ten, and wrote my first song when I was 16. I am largely self-taught, but have benefitted greatly from the many bands I've played with over the years. I've also been an avid listener of music, and sought to incorporate many different styles into my songwriting. As you will hear, my songs reflect the fact that I've been many places and done many things other than just play music. They have, in the original sense of the word, character.

Story behind the song
I was at a meeting in Dallas, and my good friend Rokus den Hartog was preaching a sermon about how when we look at Jesus on the cross, we are in fact seeing ourselves in our true condition of suffering. I wrote this song as a tribute to his sermon, and our condition of suffering. For, indeed, this man of Gallilee did pay the ultimate price, and we do as well. Step through the door, my friends.
Lyrics
vI I've seen the miles you've walked, Past things you could not change, Past dreams that you left behind, When they could not be arranged. vII I've seen you groping in the dark, Just searchin' for a sign, Hopin' someone would be there, When you were left so blind. Chorus Let me see your hands, And the scars upon your feet. The wound in your side, And the bruises on your knees. 'Cause I'll help you bear your cross, As we travel this last mile. vIII And I know how hard it's been, To be left out on your own, Without a friend to touch your arm, Without a way to go back home.
