Story behind the song
The lyrics, chords and melody of this song occured spontaneously whole and complete. I had nothing to alter after the first outpouring. A rare occurence.. for me at least.
Lyrics
Each Man Each man tells his tale of woe And in the spring they feel the snow When it could all be left behind The past is deaf and the future blind Yet each man has his tale to sow And in the spring they’ll see it grow As one man learns from the other’s tale And reaps I hope how not to fail But if each man’s woe was left behind Their past was deaf and their future blind They with seasons nature makes Would not reap or sow mistakes Mark McCahon Copyrighted © 1979 Mark McCahon all rights reserved
