Do It Yourself Alternative
Since receiving his first guitar at age 12 (a 1965 Silvertone) Ryan has been writing and playing music for his personal enjoyment for more than 30 years. After years of putting his music on assorted cassettes (and a 8 year layoff to take care of career and kids) Ryan put Pro Tools on an old computer in the back bedroom and began writing, playing and recording music again. It's a life-long hobby for him. Ryan plays guitar, bass and keyboards and uses a drum machine for the beats.

Story behind the song
When I was a kid, I loved McCartney's Mull of Kintyre. I woke up one morning at 4 a.m. from a dream about all the people who influenced me in my hometown in Kansas. I counted the number of people up and down Manning and Menor streets who made an incredible mark on my life and have since died. I stopped counting at 22. Thus, 22 angels.
Lyrics
22 Angels Manning and Menor; Millington and Bliss These are the streets in my dreams reminisce Born in the autumn, just before the chill 22 angels watch up on the hill Rain falling down as I ride through the night Imagining faces gone out of sight Alive in my mind, know just how I feel 22 angels watch up on the hill Let me out, let me out Let me in When will I see you again? Will you know me still? 22 angels watch up on the hill Time marches on, but I still go to there Remember the ones who bothered to care Lighting my life all these years they do still 22 angels watch up on the hill
