Herbie Gaines is a Chicago born and bred singer-songwriter. His years of experience at life weave their way through his thoughtful music. He sings stories of love, sex, and situations that can be serious or humorous, often with underlying social commentary. Affectionately labeled by one fan as “Herbietunes” -- his songs are sometimes sweet, sometimes tart slices of reality. They will touch your heart, challenging you to think, make you laugh, or even move you to tears. Story behind the song
A fellow member of www.jpfolks.org named Skip Johnson, a minister, opened a thread with 100 song ideas. He said to use any one we wanted no strings attached. As I looked down the list I came upon "A Girlbomb Just Exploded"...and I felt compelled to write it
