Generally gentle, smooth kind of feel with perhaps flashes of a rock kind of style in with it.
I've been playing the guitar for about 6 and a half years now and have been writing songs for the best part of 4 years, unfortunately only a handful of which I've had the privilege of recording thus far. I found following my first song I had, and still have, much more inspiration. Joining this site is my way of getting my music out there and hopefully performing to and entertaining the masses.

Story behind the song
A song detailing a first 'love' in the context of school. This is far from perfect - written from scratch the day before I recorded it - this song is subject to change.
Lyrics
I was 5 and you were 7, Times together felt like heaven, I could see no more than you and me. Summer came and our time had passed, I forever thought it'd always last, I can't believe we just weren't meant to be. And I remember the sound, The days in the playground. And I remember sunshine, Summer months when you were mine. I was 8 and you were 10, When we met once again, Overjoyed I was to finally see your face. You never seemed to feel the same, I didn't understand your change, Nothing had changed for me in any case. I was 9, you were 11, I'd finally learnt my lesson, You were no longer interested in me. The summer came, you left again, I let you go just to stay sane, But still sometimes I wished that you could see. And I remember the sound, The days in the playground. And I remember sunshine, Summer months when you were mine. And now we're both older still, Nothing has changed the way I feel, As I stand hoping you'll hear this somehow, I'm thinking about you now. And I remember the sound, The days in the playground. And I remember sunshine, Summer months when you were mine.
