Schumacher's music embraces a wide range of musical styles - a true blend of Progressive Rock, Celtic, and classical music arrangements. We try to make people feel, to capture and reflect emotion, and help others as their lives are touched by both good and bad. Our success is not our sales, but the comments listeners leave about how a song touched their hearts. Check out "The Snake in the Grass" or "The Buffalo Dance" for a snapshot of the band's acoustic-progressive work.

Story behind the song
My idea of an "end of summer" song. Found some chords and words on September's day and thought, they'd go nice together.
Lyrics
Sitting out in the September sun with the love of my life, A warm breeze carries chatter and sunrays in the late afternoon sky. out in the distance a wave and a smile that's familiar to me, tiny hands over my eyes peek-a-booh, oh familiar to me, familiar to me. Familiar to me like the sun and the moon, like the end of small wonders before reality sets in too soon, it's that little piece of heaven for rent if you dare to imagine it so, famliar to me. Time seems to stand still as her soft hand keeps touching mine, injects tranquillity into a restless, troubled mind, silence speaks louder than one million words on this warm autumn day, forming a sanctuary from the busy world so far away, the busy world far, far away..so far away. So far away like the sun and the moon, like the end of small wonders before reality sets in too soon, it's that little piece of heaven for rent if you dare to slip away with the flow. No matter how high the peak I know I'll reach it with you, even when my soul's running on empty I will still pull through, and a kiss from her lips will always persuade me to press on, even if heavy weather brews tumbling skies and all omen seem to be wrong, seem to be wrong. Peaceful serenity blesses the evening of the day, Taking me hostage to soothing simplicity for a change, my little guy's persistent, disarmingly pestering "Dad, please play with me", how I cherrish these moments so precious and pure before the cares of tomorrow enter and take 'em away, take 'em away. So far away like the sun and the moon, like the end of small wonders before reality sets in too soon, just my little piece of heaven for rent cause I care to love you so
