Everything I am is because of the Lord and I give all the glory to Him. The simple truth is God will take care of you. Take the leap of faith, ask Jesus into your heart, accept His gift of grace, trust and live for Him. Psalm 59:16 "But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble." I am a singer/songwriter playing for the sheer joy of it. I've been finding peace singing at my piano all my life. I'm happy to sing and play for my supper anytime. :)

Story behind the song
This is Mike's song. He created the wonderful music track and then I added lyrics. He is a cancer survivor and this song is his theme, taking it one step at a time. I am thankful to call him my friend.

Melissa, check your high fi link on this song....something's wrong, I had to listen lo-fi, because the hi fi link sounds really bad. I see the problem, I downloaded the file..you're at 192 kbit 48 khz The file needs to be at 128 kbit 44100 khz to sound right when uploaded. You'll have to convert back to wav, unless you have the original..then you'll have to downsample to 44100 khz staying at 16 bit, then convert again to 128 kbit/44100 khz. It sounds wonderful, since I downloaded to hear....there's alot of sincerity in your vocals. :D This is a very encouraging song for people who are down and out..and many who are facing severe odds.
