Story behind the song
Tony Williams started out professionally at 17 to work with one of the most influential musicians of all time, Miles Davis. His poly rhythmic technique of playing gave him a big sound on some songs, but due to his sensitivity, could be smooth as silk on others. I wrote this tune as a tribute upon his death. He was one of my favorites.
