Slowly walking thru the street ~ soft sunbeams shining down on me/ Battered ~ shattered ~ tattered ~ nothing more than moving debris/ Thoughts on empty ~ eyes gazing at oblivion ~ heart tick-tock’ing like a pendulum clock/ With a sudden shock I realize I’ve drifted off to an unknown block/ Something has changed ~ breathing seems easier ~ the atmosphere is cheaper/ The birds sing more clearer ~ the blue of the sky grows deeper/ The sun highlighting the concrete in’to a mirror while I’m absently staring at it like a sleeper/ A warm energy flows out to my body from within my chest ~ Smiling ~ my heart beating fast ~ vigorously pumping blood out on it’s noble quest/ Feeling strong and happy ~ the root of life caressing my fingertips/ One clear moment and then it is gone ~ shadows cover it like a solar eclipse/ My mouth again grabbed by gravity ~ sighing loudly as I continue walking ~
Step by step ~ just keep on going/
