Story behind the song
I wrote this one after meeting a great friend. Ever feel like you can contact someone mentally? It seems we could met in our dreams. Dreams are NOT like drifty new age melodies--they are the mind running amuck in an orderless world. This piece is a bold attempt to reconstruct the dreamers world. Crazy, Cool, and Fun!Thanks for making it the number one song in this genre! Ever feel like you can communicate with a loved one via telepathy? I am contacting you from the next plane, the world of dreams, and you know I am. We look at our watches and call each other and say "You rang?". Its a fun piece. My friend Juli giggled through the her part of the tracking. Done with Logic Audio and a heavy remix in Sound Forge 4. In the remix, I would copy segments of audio amd process them on another track, then drop them back in to the master track at varying mix ratios. This defies conventional studio wisdom.
