Lord we need to talk, there’s something I don’t get
What is the deal with ‘joy’?
I know that you’re real and I’m sure you understand
But why so hard to find joy
And I know I don’t want to leave here
Until we talk it out
Father I see hurt, and it’s really all around
So how do we get to this ‘joy’?
And I know thankfulness is part of the plan
Sometimes it’s still hard to feel joy
Lord show us what we have, so we can understand
I have to believe I’ll find…more answers along the way
