Lyrics
It’s such a lovely day, the sun is warm And I really must admit- I love my wonderful home I’ve been so blessed, living in comfort But every now and then… thoughts come creeping in of a world in despair, I see it in the news But it’s really not my problem- what’s going on out there ~and besides~ This is such a safe place, so predictable got a good routine going, all my ducks in a row but sometimes I suspect… down deep inside there’s more that I was made for than a comfortable life Maybe I could make a difference, even change the world, but what if it’s not safe?..........what if it’s not clean?? But what if that is everything I was ever meant to be What if someone ‘round the world’s dying to hear the words I speak What if someone’s starving and I’m the only one who can feed What if I could live beyond my wildest dreams! …But I’m so comfortable, here in my easy chair sitting gazing out at the sparkling water It’s so enjoyable, see the birds out there flying on their way, I’m in such a lovely place Maybe I’ll change the world… …some other day.
