Story behind the song
Okay, so this version almost didn't get worked on tonight. Instead, I was wanting to do a mix of another song on that prog, but when I punched it up when I got home I couldn't figure out how to create the smooth, minimal intro that I wanted. So I ditched that idea and was browsing through the other files on there and at the end I returned to this one and figured, yeah, let's do that one. It's funny that what I did sounds Bassy considering that none of the channels I added were found in that category. Nope, they were all Pads, believe it or not. Which is super cool, because now I can go back and add some actual Bass to this to make it sound even crazier than it already does. As for what was done- I spent alot of time listening to Dieselboy and that album served as the primary template of inspiration for this. I tried to emulate what I had heard and am pretty sure I nailed it. Though, I'm sure I'm probably going to have to go back and do some tweeking, but that can wait until my next version of this. Either way, you tell me. Did I nail it or is this a swing and a miss. Well all, I hope ya dig this current installment. And I'm outta here- 'poof'!
