One With The Computer, a one-man MIDI-recording virtuoso heralding from Baltimore, Maryland, introduces a new and different breed of electronically produced videogame-influenced instrumental progressive rock for the masses. Using nothing but his own home computer, various pieces of installed software, outboard reverb effects, and his creative ingenuity, One With The Computer creates music reminiscent of many different styles with a sound like no other. One With The Computer aspires to use his music to broaden the horizons of others and to take them beyond the limits of their imaginations. "There is beauty in simplicity."

Story behind the song
"When I sat down to write this, I was originally envisioning it to be a one-and-a-half minute long transitional piece of sorts. But sometimes, these things just write themselves, which this song did in the space of only three days. It turned out sounding like the opening theme of some science-fiction TV series. The main keyboard stab was inspired by the one in the Don Henley song 'Dirty Laundry', as both parts were written along similar lines...I decided to take the part and give it an 'electronic-sounding' twist. A little more cutting and pasting went into this than I'm accustomed to using, but because this song was the 'techno' sounding song I knew I could get away with it this once, as long as the song did not sound cut-and-pasted together, which quite surprisingly this does not. In fact, I feel it is one of my strongest musical statements. The name "Techno Logical" seems to fit it well, given it's influences and it's computerized-style theme. It is subtitled "Dawg's Theme" to give my official mascot for the project, a character from a science-fiction style novel I am planning to write, his own cool tune. :)" --- One With The Computer
