Welcome to my Muse-ical world! I am a Songwriter/Vocalist who creates original music using my Yamaha keyboard, Garageband, various percussion instruments and loops. Am currently seeking band members to work on originals and copy tunes. Would like a variety band: Country, classic Rock, Pop, Oldies, newies, Blues, Jazz. But am open to suggestion... "Short Story Long" Well I got up singin' early this mornin' feelin' like a million bucks The sun was shining, skies were blue and my heart was full of love Ate breakfast, grabbed my shoppin' list then headed out the door Jumped in my car and proceeded to drive 'cross town to the store I strolled down the aisles in record time, up above cloud nine With cart filled to the brim I headed to the check out line There were two little ladies, a girl with a baby and a man ahead of me But I didn't mind, was enjoyin' life and was happy as I could be While waitin' there for what seemed forever things began to change The man in front of me looked so distraught I asked, Are you OK? He looked like he'd lost his best friend and was all torn up inside Then started barfin' out the excruciating stories of his life, one...li-ttle-bitt-y-syll-a-ble-at-a-time! ------ On, and on and on and on and on Yeah! He went on, and on and on and on and on He went on and on and on and on and on He said: I don't understand why nothin' ever goes my way When I try my best to do what's right every day But somehow I never seem to ever even get a lucky break Short story long...Love sucks, life's a nightmare...then you die! He continued moanin' 'n groanin' 'bout rotten kids and lousy x-wives His face screwed up, mouth drooped down and he began to shake 'n cry Everyone around was glarin' at him wishin' he'd shut the bleep up Short story longer...he kept on talkin', 'cause enough... wasn't enough! Well I was wishin' the cashier would hurry it up, but to my dismay She was new and nervous and havin' trouble with the cash register tape I tried to get a word in edgewise but he wouldn't let me interrupt Short story longest...he kept jawin', 'bout lots... of depressing...stuff! He went on, and on and on and on and on On and on and on and on and on Yeah! He went on and on and on and on... YAWN! By the time I got to the car my ice-cream was drippin' from the sack Then I realized my keys were locked inside and one of my tires was flat To make matters worse it was a hundred and three degrees in the shade Sometimes gettin' outta bed in the morning just don't...seem...to pay! Chorus: We may not understand why life don't always go our way But most of us try our best to do what's right anyway Hopin and dreamin for that one lucky break... Short story long...love can suck, and life can be a nightmare But they are well worth every breath we take! HA HA HA! Too funny! Way too funny! Even the title. The arrangement etal fits so well. Love sucks lifes a nigthmare then u die. Thats the best!
