Story behind the song
In 1984 I worked for CertiFLEX in Dallas. Dave, the owner and president, was a musician and also owned a small recording studio. He let me come in one afternoon to record the guitar parts on this song of his. The singer is Brian (what was his last name?). They were good guys, they took me to see Eric Johnson in a small bar off the M streets - very cool. Dave told me what he wanted for fills in some places but then just the general idea for the lead so that was improvised on the spot. I wish I could go back and fix that first bend... it was a little off.
