Story behind the song
I wrote this song in Chicago in 1980. It's in a montuno jazz style that I like a lot because is one of my first arrangements in which I feature orchestral (strings) both as smooth accompaniment and sectional melodic soloing. It has a melancholic main melody in F minor and the bridge in a more sunny Ab major, the introduction works well as a coda also.
