Lyrics
(Spoken) Ten long years have passed in the reign of the Newborn God. Humanity seems to be all but a distant memory to those who have once been part of it. ----- In the the dark and hazy horizon Filled with fumes and painful cries Where the pillars of might reach the sky There the Newborn Leige resides Where neo-angels are processed and raised Their leader's commandments to carry through And behind a curtain of titanium alloy Something only referred to as "Project Q" An effort to breed the most efficient soldier A trial in genetic boundaries A nail in the coffin of human will A plot to bring the human race to it's knees A misplaced genome, a miscalculation Carried in the womb of a rebel soldier Programmed to crush the human rebellion But they only made it even bolder ----- The fetus gestates in merely four weeks. By genetic design, this neo-angel is capable of reaching maturity in the span of 26 months, and designed to outlive the average human being by approximately 300 years. ----- They didn't expect that things would go wrong The proto-gyrl she came to be Within her hear, nanites meant to destroy Now carry the code to save humanity Born and raised with an iron will Unbreakable spirit, and a napalm heart She will not be killed by rudimentary function She will not be torn apart With the knowledge that she's part machine She knows she is not like most But her humanity will not die A carbon-based soul in a silicon host. Fighting off the insectoid infection On this planet we call home Struggling for her own existence In the world ruled by alien throne ----- The humans knew her as Stacey Jackson, but the Insectoid legions knew her by her birth name, "Q-1." Project Q was deemed a failure, and abandoned to safeguard from the risk of further potential problems. However, the nanovaccine that Stacey carried within her heart would quickly spread throughout humanity to aid in it's resurgence. ----- I write this letter to you I can't beleive my eyes I saw the most awesome sight In the gray and dismal skies A human woman stood alone Against an army fit and sound A flash of light and the enemy vanished A mighty roar shook the ground ----- Stacey's tales of struggle spread like an infection throughout Planet Earth. In mere months, the humans that once carried on unwitting to the changes that took place around them began to look long and hard at the decades of a slowly growing corporate infection known as D'Lanor. ----- Stacy sometimes thought to herself "What good is living if you just survive? To feel the blood rushing through your veins To really know how to feel alive The secret of the angels and demons They never stood a chance in the fight They were just two broken halves In the ancient puzzle of human might." "When it all comes down to the facts Ours and theirs are one in the same I know that their kind has tampered with us Gave us Insectoid hearts and brains But I know when it comes time For flesh torn and blood to be spilled I know I have an edge over them I know I have my own free will" I don't need you I won't feed you I don't make you I won't take you You won't change me You can't chain me You won't find me You can't blind me ----- The nanovaccine quickly spread throught humanity, but was it enough? D'Lanor's Insectoid legions were already of equal poulation to that of the now Neo-Humanoid's. Will the struggle ever come to closure?
