Alternative/Electronica ('80s) CCM Recorded with a Korg X3R, Digitech MIDI Vocalist and Alesis MicroVerb 4 through a Peavey Line 8 mixer and M-Audio Audiophile USB into Cool Edit Pro.
This "band page" is specifically for an album I assembled in 1994. The last several recordings are from 4-track tape in the '80s (summer of '88, mostly) and the rest are digitally recorded in the very early '90s. I thought this album and most of the songs in it were lost forever, and stumbled across it recently while looking through some old CDs! One track was withheld, because it is a "remix" of an existing worship song. Many of the songs on this page are "cut short" by SoundClick due to file size, but all the lyrics are included anyway. These are all old (rough) demos, but if there is interest, I could offer individual tracks for sale and make this a "VIP" site, so the tracks could be offered at full-length.

Story behind the song
Sister song to "Valley", using much of the same musical undertone, and a similar overall lyrical theme. A powerful warfare song, this song pits believers in a battle against the enemy of their souls. This song was part of an album CD I put together in 1994, including several tracks from the late '80s, that were thought to have been lost forever when the hard drive they were all on crashed. Recently a single, scratched up CD containing the entire album was discovered at the bottom of a box full of other CDs.
Lyrics
Keep Talking Michael Blue You know the truth You know you've been had Don't it make you feel angry Don't it make you feel sad All your every day All through to the dawn Don't it make you feel like a victim Don't it make you feel like a pawn All through the years Throughout all generations All through your tears Through your heart's penetration All through the night He is there stalking All through the strife Tell him; "Just keep talking"! Now you hear the truth He knows his time is short Does it ever make him wonder Does it ever make him contort "Is it today, He is returning Is it today, the end is near?" As he prowls like a lion Devouring in haste and fear All through the years Throughout all generations All through your tears Through your heart's penetration All through the night He is there stalking All through the strife Tell him; "Just keep talking"! Yeah! The clock is ticking, the hour's drawing near Stand firm, there is nothing left to fear Our King is returning here... "Resist the adversary and he will flee you!" Reap the harvest, we're going home soon Much to be done, not many who will do Once inside those gates, we'll tell him "Just keep walking!" ?1994 - 2009 Michael Blue
