i'm an uber-indie, uber-underground alternafolkpunktronica artist trying to get my music out there and see what happens. ?at my live shows, i play an acoustic guitar, amped thru an effects pedal, fingerpicking and/or strumming, in a "folk" and/or "punk" style. when i'm recording, i use garageband to add fuller arrangements to my voice and guitar, or work in garageband exclusively to create instrumental sonic adventures that i would never be able to physically play, bringing in the "electronica" element. whatever methods, tools and/or instruments i'm using, i strive to create a sound and style that i think is uniquely my own, "alternative" in the truest sense of the word, and yet draws on the influences of a wide variety of artists and genres. "alternafolkpunktronica" is my way of poking fun at the absurdities of pigeonholing music into genres, and yet is also probably a pretty fair deskription of my music.the only way you're going to know my music is to listen.either it moves you or it doesn't.nothing else matters.
