Lyrics
Stronger than the waves that splash in the tide on a stormy night. Higher than the clouds that blanket the sky on a cool summer day. Is my love for you – as hard as it may be, To believe in this dream come true. If I had only more time to spare, To show you how much I care. Sweeter than the rose that won the show at the local fair. Brighter than the sun that shines all around no matter where you are. Is my love for you – as long as it’s been, Since I’ve seen your beautiful smile. At last we’ll share the touch so longing, Yes it’s been awhile. Into my arms you come, reach out and hold me darling. Into my soul is filled, with the wellness of her being. The land and sea will keep us apart, But always in our hearts, We’ll be together through all the trials And find the way back – into my arms. Very good performance, Bob. Expecially loved the melody in the hook but the whole song shines... liked the solo that fits perfectly in the soft, romantic mood. Enjoyed for sure! Corrado

Lovely melody and beautiful vocals. There used to be a prolific songwriter called David Gates who wrote amazing love songs (he used to perform with a band called Bread) and I don't think anyone has ever equalled him...until now! The craftsmanship in this song is outstanding and the guitar solo is wonderful. This track would surpass anything that was written by the great David Gates - very radio-friendly and engaging. Excellent stuff!

Bob, you did it again Bud, I think that's your niche, love songs, no one does them better, very romantic, this is radio ready, love it. You're a mean guitar player, but just love the romantic songs you sing, you have it all.

Very nice, Bob. Smooth sound with a very nice job on the vocals. Kind of Christopher Cross vibe with a dash of airsupply. Very well produced with just the most subtle hook in the bass line of the Chorus which keeps it fresh and original. And oh my, the guitar solo is so tasty. Ed
