Real Name - Dave Evans. Primarily a songwriter, I played guitar and sang in original local bands with names like Destiny, Streetwise, Windstorm. Of these, Windstorm had the most potential. Before imploding, we opened shows for a few 70s and 80s luminaries.

Story behind the song
Lyrically, the most difficult song I have ever written, causing me to face my own mortality.
Lyrics
I can't tell if you believe me everything I've said is true At least it is from my point of view I'd like to think you need me just as much as I need you From what I've seen, I'm pretty sure you do If you marry me, be my family We'll start our lives together like many people do As we journey through the years There'll be laughter, There'll be tears It all looks good from my point of view The beginning was a struggle With each child born a job would go But still we hung together and saw our fortunes grow The middle years were harder still As old friends slipped away It was strange to see each other turning gray Still you stayed with me, became part of me The things we say don't mean as much As all the things we do The years go rolling by you're still by my side It's mostly good from my point of view So may loved ones in our lives so many of them gone Most lived long eventful lives, some left us far too young And as we sit here looking back can't help but wonder why We seldom had the time to say goodbye And now we've reached the final stage The children have all grown They've moved on with their lives Started families of their own I want to say before I go Of all those I've held near I'm so glad it's you that sitting here Will you stay with me? Lay with me? Hold me close as we recall all of those we knew My darling dry your eyes, before you leave my side Know it's good from my point of view It's all been good from my point of view

Great songwriting here. A poignant view of lifes' twists and turns throughout the years shared with someone special. Can relate entirely, difficult to admit that tears were shed but excellent songwriting sometimes has a way of bringing emotions to the forefront. Wonderfully presented as well, with fitting vocal work and guitar, an honor to have listened.
