Story behind the song

I love to drive through beautiful tree covered mountains.  I have seen many and never get tired of it.  One morning I was reading 2 Corinthians 1:12  "Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace ", before taking off to Oregon through Ashland just north of California. It was beautiful, as always, and that verse just kept coming to mind.  My desire is to boast in the Lord and not be distracted by the noise of the world.  I don't even like to listen to the radio when I drive.  Anyway, this song was born on that trip......
