the bunkbeds are jim higgins and the occasional guest players. home made indy rock lofi musings that doesn't take itself to seriously best describes the music and the band. everything recorded at home all on cheap n nasty equipment. the ultimate bedroom band. of late i have found myself collaborating with musicians the world over, predominantly with lyrics and vocals so if you have a tune banging around that you cant come up with lyrics for send it my way and i'll see if i can help.

Story behind the song
dave sickler aka bodie2006 (see my friends list) sent me the music. not long before this dave's daughter had been ill and in hospital (she is back to full health) so that kind of inspired the lyric. jim is on lead vocals with dave doing everything else including backing vox.

Very nice tune...love the flow of it all. Good lyrics with laid back phrasing and nice harmonies. Love the slide work and overall instrumentaion. The drum track is creative and gets your attention. Excellent !
