We aim to lull our listeners into a false sense of security, allowing them to float upon a soft, mysterious melody that soon distils itself into a rather dissonant vibe before exploding into a mass of distortion and feedback. That’s the plan because we don’t want to be dismissed as just another ‘metal’ band or even worse, an ‘emo’ band because all five of us pilgrims have asserted our own unique musical influence and ideas upon this band. It’s like a recipe, gracious and fulfilling when the exact amount of spice and flavour has been added. However, lets just say that in this analogy we got a little bit carried away with spices and poisons and even though it looks accessible and edible, something dark and twisted lies within.
