Pop rock music with melodic sensibilities and big memorable choruses!
Here's the deal; I write these songs, then I record them, then I ask people to listen to them. I've been playing music for durn near 40 years, and learned to play an instrument about 20 years ago. During the late 80's and through the 90's I played in a few cover bands in northern Michigan. Cover-Up, Rock Candy, Jet Plane Jane, Listen Mister, Chill Street. I got exposed to playing a wide variety of songs and styles, which I think helps my writing a little bit now. I record my music in my quite modest home studio which I have dubbed "Rocket Studio". It looks like a studio, because I have a few racks full of impressive audio gear, although I don't use any of it for recording. Most of the songs are all recorded, mixed, and mastered in the box (that means on the computer), with the only input being a couple of guitars, and a condenser microphone. Anyhow, I hope you like these songs (when I actually post them here in a little while.)

Story behind the song
This song is a tongue-in-cheek shout out to some friendly critics of mine who light heartedly accused me of writing the same song, over and over again. So what if I have? I like that song. ;)
Lyrics
Verse 1 A Palm muted guitar in straight eight note beats A protomento synth to make the phrase complete yeah yeah.... Drums enter on one with snares on two and four How many times have I done this befo-o-ore?... Prechorus: Well I wrote a new song today And though I worked real hard to make it new someway..... Chorus: This new song will sound just like my other stuff 'Cause this new song is the same. I thought I could try something new and that would be enough but I wound up writing this same old song again. Verse 2 I put away my worn rhyming thesaurus and wrote a simple plain thee chord Chorus yea yeah.... forgot everything that I thought I knew for a different style so long overdue... Prechorus: But that isn't how it all unfolds... and my new song already sounds ten years old.... Chorus Now, what comes after the second verse.... Oh!.. it's the bridge! Bridge: I should be happy that I've written this song I'm getting pretty good at it, been doing it so long. But maybe the point is moot Until I'll I hire me a lawyer and serve myself in a multimillion dollar copyright infringement Lawsiut..... would that even work? Chorus Spoken Outro: Yea, I know it's the same old song. But you know what? I like it! And if you like it too, well that's cool! Because I'm not done yet. I'm gonna write this song again next week, Maybe a few times next year too!
