I'm a 23 year old Hip-Pop-Soul singer from Austin, TX. I currently reside in Dallas, TX. I'm influenced by SO many different artists and so many different types of music. I don't like to define my sound. I like to try and open to all sorts of different ideas. I write every lyric to every song I sing. [That is SO important to me.] When you hear a track, I always want you to feel like you were there living it with me. And by the time the song is over, you won't have any questions about what I was thinking/feeling or going through. Tune in, have FUNN, dance, and feel me!

Story behind the song
I wrote this about my relationship. It took forever to die. So, in the end I was just like, "Cheers to being over it." lol
Lyrics
V1 Maybe if you got over yourself, I would've loved you like you wanted me to. And if you paid more attention to me, I would've showed more interest in you. Maybe if you weren't a stubborn ass, You could see things from my point of view. Maybe us being broken apart, Was the best thing for me and you. Go ahead and be childish, Just don't call me again. Next time you log-on to Facebook, Delete me from your friends. We let it go on too long, Now this way nobody wins. I guess we had to be sure, But I know this is the end. So... CHORUS Here's to tears I so wasted, And here's to the years so not well spent. But, that's okay 'cause I've grown, and I'm wiser now. I go out, I'm the toast of the town. So cheers for being, so over it. V2 Maybe time will heal the wounds, That we've placed on each others hearts. Maybe we were only fooling ourselves, And it was wrong from the very start. Maybe if you didn't piss me off, I wouldn't have told you, 'to the left, to the left'. And if I still felt something for you, I wouldn't have moved on to somebody else. [But I did it, yup] Now, it's much too late. You've got some things, to evaluate. How could you want me so much and not show it? Until you screw up, until you blow it. I've got some issues, you've got some too. I'll work on me, while you work on you. I don't want to date you. And I don't want to hate you. So let's find some closure, This party's over. So... CHORUS Here's to tears I so wasted, And here's to the years so not well spent. But, that's okay 'cause I've grown, and I'm wiser now. I go out, I'm the toast of the town. So cheers for being, so over it. BREAK I'll never regret you, I'll never forget you. But that doesn't mean that I would still want you. Look at me, I'm doing fine now. Sipping my wine now, toasting to life and it's greatness. I will be perfectly honest, You just may hate this, But I moved myself off the wait list. I stopped feeling worthless, Go ahead and get jealous, But I found someone who deserves this. CHORUS Here's to tears I so wasted, And here's to the years so not well spent. But, that's okay 'cause I've grown, and I'm wiser now. I go out, I'm the toast of the town. So cheers for being, so over it.
