I wrote this with David Reuter. He had a lot of it already, but just couldn't finish it. He asked me to step in and help. Here is what we came up with.

Story behind the song
David grew up in Pennsylvania around covered bridges like the one in the song. He had a lot of it together, but just couldn't finish it. I told him to come get me when he got stuck...well, he got stuck so we finished it last night. Thanks for viewing and listening.
Lyrics
Where He019d Wanna Be 2009 Curt Collins, David Reuter There019s an old red wooden covered bridge that crosses roaring creek Where my grandpa tied a rope swing to the rafter019s underneath And on every hot Summer day you could bet That019s where he019d wanna be He said he met my Grandma there in July of 01943 You can still see where he carved I Love You Jenny in a tree She swam there every day so you can bet That019s where he019d wanna be For sixty five years he held her hand 01CThrough richer and poorer01D past good times and bad Sometimes a first love is the last one you ever need She could be stubborn and he had his pride But through everything they stood side by side 018Cause that was always where he019d wanna be There a white church right outside of town that needs a coat of paint Where my Grandpa said I do in June of 01848 The bride arrived a little late but she knew That019s where he019d wanna be For sixty five years he held her hand 01CThrough richer and poorer01D past good times and bad Sometimes a first love is the last one you ever need She could be stubborn and he had his pride But through everything they stood side by side 018Cause that was always where he019d wanna be Grandma passed away last May and he hadn019t been the same He visits her every afternoon but he019s countin019 the days 018Till he019s right back by her side cause you can bet That019s where he019d wanna be For sixty five years he held her hand 01CThrough richer and poorer01D past good times and bad Sometimes a first love is the last one you ever need She could be stubborn and he had his pride But through everything they stood side by side 018Cause that was always where he019d wanna be
