City Burns is a disquieting prediction of what carelessness can do to a civilization. The city the song refers to is our Mother Earth. The vocals are my own, though synthesized for dramatic effect. Yes, I am speaking English, but it is an Old English dialect mashed together with the rich, dark beauty of an African accent. Don't miss the sound of soldiers' boots marching- and the call of command. That is no cool sound effect. It is what the beginning of the end sounds like.
