Story behind the song
This song came to me after experiencing the realization that my heart wasn't as spiffy white as I thought. My version of "create in me a clean heart". I don't think it is natural for men to want to follow God. So this is my prayer. That God would create in me a kingdom heart. Oh, I know we like doctrines and religion and law. We like things we can work at and get better. But to stand before God somehow makes us nothing and everything at the same time.
