Story behind the song

This a song about the hero in a series of book by William W. Johnstone, "Out Of the Ashes".   The strength and integrity of "Ben Raines" is the cornerstone to the American way of life in those hard times.  The fact that he rises to defend the Constitution of the United States, against foreign and domestic foes, is the only the beginning of the story.   I think it applies to where we are now in this country....
