Artist picture
Ideosycratic accoustic based siner-songwritter (Yup, can't call myself a singer), but don't die with the music still inside you.
Mogus Rougus is a unique collaberation between Symon of the Crybbe, his Puerus Eternus, and a glass of fine red (Rosemount Grenach Shiraz plays in many of the recording sessions). The intention is self expression, and friendship with other musos.

Story behind the song
Written for my good friend Michael C, who has lived so much and survived so much. This is a biographical ballad about the freedom of living your dreams, and the disillusion that comes with the knocks that life delivers. Please leave your comments about the arrangement. Is the intro too long?
Lyrics
Late In The Seventies Look out at the break, it's one magic day, peeling off perfect sets that roll into the bay. With the sun on your back, and the wind in your hair, energy sparks off the sea, and there's freedom in the air. Late in the seventies, life is quite heavenly camped by the sea in a cave. No need to hurry, and no need to worry, you just go chasing the waves Feel them roll, meet every moment right from your soul, ride every wave Now the story moves on, there's a girl in your life, you follow her across the world and come back with a wife. So there's dreams to be built and things to achieve and now that ol' surf board just hangs out in the eves. The years seem to scatter as other things matter, there's family and home to maintain, but you're doing so much that you slip out of touch and it breaks, but there's no one to blame. You say: Late in the seventies, life was quite heavenly camped by the sea in a cave. No need to hurry, and no need to worry, you just went chasing the waves. You just got rolled meet every monster right from the soul ride every wave So now you're alone, and it's time to break free, but where is the young man that you used to be? You're out on the road You go down to the sea Looks like that window closed 'bout nineteen eighty three. In the confusion there's a feeling of losing everything that was once you. No matter how far we stray, no matter how long we stay, these years will still be too few. Yeah,Late in the seventies, life was quite heavenly camped by the sea in a cave. No need to hurry, and no need to worry, you just went chasing the waves. Feel them roll meet every moment, right from the soul, ride every wave. Late in the seventies, life is quite heavenly camped by the sea in a cave. No need to hurry, and no need to worry, you just go chasing the waves.
