Grew up on a hearty helping of both hair metal and folk rock. So, as a creature of my influences I tend to write heartfelt lyrics and start the writing process
Diverse, in a typical gig, you'd hear covers of bob dylan, neil young, and originals in the same vein, for instance, "Let it Rain" or "Once Upon A Sunset" and then you'd hear covers by Velvet Revolver and Bon Jovi, and originals of the like, eg. "Minion of Thor", and "Heaven's Getting Closer." Anywhere from socially conscience, to tongue in cheeck, straight up rock and roll.

Story behind the song
Not really much of a story; more a personal song, was feeling a little homesick; during the first time I moved out, pining for the feel of family again.
Lyrics
V.1 Saw the light at the end of the tunnel But it was an oncoming train How can such profound things be so subtle? Just like our love, and our pain V.2 Searched for hope in anybody willing And it brought comfort for a while How can emptiness, be so fulfilling? Like going nowhere for miles, and miles Chorus: What I'd give just to feel again Just to know what's real again To have loving arms holding me To have someone there consoling me V.3 Dug a hole I couldn't get out of So all that was left was to look up How can the out of place, fill like a glove Like lengthful planning of the abrupt Chorus: What I'd give just to feel again Just to know what's real again To have loving arms holding me To have someone there consoling me (Solo) Chorus
