The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too.

Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used.

I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability.

I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :)

What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to.

All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me.

Story behind the song

The Lord will and can always use a willing vessel to accomplish His work, no matter how large or small it may be, and I'm of the opinion there is no such thing as "small" jobs...but it requires a willing heart; and a willingness to make changes within.

Mike Marshall of VMP has, once again, stepped forward to work with me, and has done a fabulous job on the track he put together for this song.

Wow! What a shocker that intro was. Not exactly what I expected to hear on this page. LOL I thought I must have made a wrong turn somewhere on the way to Tammy's page. ;)

All joking aside, this is a very interesting mix of two completely different styles that normally don't play together very well. You guys managed to pull it off somehow. Works for me. :)
Nice collab.

One little suggestion if I might....
Crank those drums way up!!! 3db and probably more in the louder passages. Maybe as much as 6 or 8 db. Rock needs high dynamic levels to truly capture the excitement of Rock.

Just a thought, ;)

Sorry took so long to get around.  This has been the busiest summer in years.
This is really different for you.  The guitars are very professional sounding, though I do miss your Gospel keys.  Your voice does seem a bit freer though in spots.  Pretty harmonies. I'm sure its another big hit!

Wow Tammy!

From the very intro, I realized that this song is different than your previous works.  This is a tremendous musical work between you and Mike.  I love those rock guitars!  I also love the message of this song, because it echoes my sentiments also.  People admire our artistic works, but we artists know how imperfect we are.  I echo "Lord take my heart".  Two thumbs up!
