Story behind the song
The album "Letting Go" chronicles the soul journey of choosing love over fear. "November" is about saying goodbye to the myths we create in our relationships, and opening our eyes to the truth. And painful as this can be, it brings peace and the freedom to move forward.
Lyrics
Looking for yourself but you are still here Still connected to the beat of my heart You will find me in the space in-between You were my dying dream Now I know this isn't everything you wanted Shadow calls to keep you inside the pain Hold it close to you to keep you warm Living your dying dream And you gave up your fear No better reason to love me But I opened my eyes And it's November, my dear I am waiting here - November, I love you Sorry now, but never enough All my tomorrows for your reasons But you don't really care about yourself Looking for the place where you've never been Free of memories of the way that you touched me Lonely for you here, I miss you again You were my dying dream And you gave up your fear No better reason to love me But I opened my eyes And it's November again Looking for yourself but you are still here You will find me in-between the darkness I made my sacrifice To live in your dying dream And you gave up your fear No better reason to love me But I opened my eyes And it's November again, my dear My dear… © 2003 Angela D.
