We are a rock band influenced by the 70's...we have our own sound and we like honest people...that way we can get better artistically...
Mild orphic Canadian alternative rock group, Mild Orphic has a long history in regards to how they were formed. Back in 2003, Jean Landry and Charles Routhier met through a common friend. They knew almost immediately that they connected when it came to their passion for music. Charles loved playing the guitar but didn't take it seriously until 12 years after that first meet. They've also filled the positions of bass and drummer a few times since 2005. Their first live show was at the Emerging Music Festival in Rouyn-Noranda in September, 2006. They also started recording in Switzerland and did a live show at the White Horse in Montreux and also at Chaux-de-Fonds for the Canadian Ambassador. Today, band members include, Jean Landry and Charles Routhier along with Yves Mercier (bass/guitar/keyboard) and Christian Leclerc (drummer). In 2007 they entered Studio Sagaces (owned by bass player Yves) and emerged in May, 2008. The regional production was complete and final prints of the CD cover were completed at Ville St-Laurent, along with all other aspects of production. Mild Orphic officially were launched at the Resto Pub O'Toole in Rouyn-Noranda on June 11, 2008. In Autumn of that same year, bass player Pat Picard became their newest member of the group. Mild Orphic's new single, "Sphere", is off of their new self-titled CD. The theme of the song is bad timing - inappropriate for a loving relationship. The theme of the entire CD is about facts of life. Mild Orphic has great, catchy tunes. Their lyrics and harmonies are beautifully performed. One thing that I love about this group is their specific style of rock. To me, it is easy listening/alternative rock. Everything out of this group is wonderful to listen to. They are very creative in their technique and are very specific in how they are heard. This new CD has been released physically and digitally. Lyrics
Anybody Words by: Jean Landry Music by: Charles Routhier A wall-eye, same wall-eye Need one doubt on bale’s young seller Hail sand fried, gale hand dry Let me hear you shout, pulling trigger Hell don’t come soon, get away Want a blurred letter. Vale aimed at, dale aimed at Wishing for the sound of shelter Oo! Won’t leave me Vale aimed at, dale aimed at Something wrong down here, mud cover Fell all in bloom, fade away Want a blurred letter... Oh! Oh! Hell don’t come soon Anybody near, is there anyone about Anybody seen any father’s son Anybody’s scene, is there anyone alive Anybody howl. Haven gun, fail doll gun Listen my advice, fear centre Oo! Wait a little. Lay wall-eye, stay wall-eye Leave me here behind forever Hell don’t come soon… Hell, won’t you soon stay away? Farewell till ever…Oh! Oh! Cell all in gloom Anybody near, is there anyone around? Anybody please, any lovin’ son Anybody’s need, is there anyone in sight? Anybody sing.
