Story behind the song
This is a quick and dirty demo I did for myself using some virtual amps in Amplitube Fender and Amplitube Jimi Hendrix. I played only two takes of live guitar (a Telecaster) over a GarageBand drum and bass sequence. Through the magic of re-amping I was able to "apply" the various amps to different sections of the two takes after the fact and comp them together into this. Here's how the virtual amps line up: RIGHT CHANNEL Fender 57 Deluxe (doubling the left channel part at times) Fender SuperSonic at about 3:05 minutes (but the 57 Deluxe is still there too) LEFT CHANNEL Fender Bassman a "dimed" Marshall at about 50 seconds Marshall (Jimi Hendrix -"Come On" preset) at about 1:50 seconds The short bit at the end is a Fender Supersonic model on both channels
