Recorded live. This song needs Harry Belafonte's band to be complete. I've got lots more parts written but lack the proper instrumentation (timabales, horn section, maraccas). Shouts to homedawg GP for the AWESOME bassline!!

Story behind the song
Homeboy GP and I recorded this fucker in my garage at about 1 am. I originally played the guitar and drums at the same time by sitting at the drum throne and just banging on the bass and hi-hats. Later I added a full drum track. I'd really like to get a full on brass section for accents, ESPECIALLY at the end where I try to mimic the horns w/ my voice (and poorly at that...this was about the 20th recording and my voice was shot).
Lyrics
I wanna rock it to the east I wanna rock it to the west But when I'm rockin in my hometown You know it makes me feel best Cause you know we got the nina, the pint of, the sensamilla The refinement, upscale and grace And if you wanna make it then shake it, be careful don't break it, if you can't keep up with the pace. Yes but when I get high man, you know it makes me feel low. Living in this country, makes me feel low. Yes but when I see the birds and the bees in the top of the trees well it makes me feel warm and I stop. And then I wake up the morning, with a little bit of life and a little bit of love. (We gunna get a bit louder now, every clap ya hands and stomp ya feet to the bass)
