People Are Looking for a New Sound
(to contact me, scroll down for my email) A note: I'm still transitioning. I will still use my male voice for my music unless I can train my upper range to the same standard. It's getting there, but it will be a while. If this bothers you, well, you don't have to listen, I guess? I will not use my voice for any collaborations or commissions. I'm also not really gonna be using this site once Depth is finished. Now that the forums are dead I'll be moving over to bandcamp and soundcloud. If there's some old copyright stuff with my male name, or dumb peddling of a "game skeleton"... it's probably gonna stay there (because whatever at this point, not like anyone uses this site). Original intro: People are looking for a new sound. I really don't know if I've succeeded at that yet, but definitely, I can try. Everything you hear on this page came from my vocal chords and my fingers. I shy away from any loops I myself did not create. Genres: Electronica - Ambient, Industrial, Game Instrumental - Film, Game, solo piano, classical I compose, play, mix, and master everything under the name Artificial Wonders. I am a solo artist and have been making music since 2006.

Story behind the song
Please contact me if you would like to license or remix this track, and please give credit. I do not charge for it but I like to keep track of who's doing it. NOTE: You can find the 192 kbps version of all four parts HERE: http://www2.mixposure.com/Artificial_Wonders/song_focus_14921.php Part 1 is a rearrangement of the title theme, "Greed", which can be found here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=888711&songID=7786667 Part One (0:00): Lantern is easily the most frightening thing you'll encounter in Aura. Your first encounter with it is at the beginning of the game, where the parallel and much more noir-inspired story of Ijihara and Max Weber in their investigation of the Japanese government abuses in 2078 takes place. Despite Keith's many upgrades by this point in the game, he is no match for the enraged beast, and can only flee. The Aura Suit has a nasty habit of shutting down when the user is under a lot of stress - Keith is under a lot of stress. As Keith stumbles out onto the top of Waveral's building, for a moment, he believes he is safe, only to see Lantern plow through the floor beneath him - this is too much for him, and he passes out. -----*NOTE, the delay inbetween part 1 and part 2 isn't really accurate as far as the in-game amount of time... but having 30 seconds of silence isn't doing much for me as far as I'm concerned, other than increasing my file size. For the sake of musicality, the delay is severely shortened.*----- Part Two (3:12) : Keith doesnt remember much, other than that he passed out. For a few seconds it's silent, and then metal starts to gather in the room *cuing in the synth*, and it continues to gather, forming the "Night" Lantern (This is a theme established earlier in the game, that whatever caused Keith to pass out, is the main object of the nightmare that would follow), until the strings start up - the fight begins. The piano is the signal to switch over to Ingram Fallish's (Keith's mentor, as well as his employer) *losing* fight against Leviathan (The main villain of the game, and rival inventor of Fallish): Fallish's injuries have gotten worse and worse, and his age isn't helping. The game switches control of Keith to Fallish, and you do your damnedest to help him survive until the next movement. Surviving the drums and thickly layered piano part will cue in the climax, which is back to Keith and the Night Lantern, but the comatose environment is anything except stable at this point. Part Three (6:20): After you finally survive the fight against Night Lantern, we learn that during all this, someone* had been driving Keith to the battlefield. Keith sees this shadowy figure hurry off before his vision clears. The vehicle is toppled over and Keith suddenly finds himself wearing an unscratched, brand-new Mk. 3 Aura Suit. The Wavelength(Ingram Fallish'es HBWM) is battered and powered down a few hundred feet away, and Keith staggers over to it, going under and around cover from the hail of gunfire around him. Keith climbs into the cockpit of the Wavelength, and sees Ingram Fallish's lifeless body, and is then consumed in a fit of rage, vowing to kill Leviathan once and for all. *That someone who drove the vehicle and gave Keith the new Aura Suit is actually Ingram Fallish. A clone was piloting the mech that Leviathan fought against. The actual Ingram Fallish trapped and defeated the real Lantern while Keith was passed out and fighting against his nightmare. Almost all of this is not revealed until the end-game sequences - you do find out that Fallish's clone is "missing" before that, which causes a few eyebrows to raise.
