Story behind the song
I wrote this on a dare in 1984 from two friends who wanted to have an original song to do in an air guitar competition (it's so amazing that this is coming back!) They even wanted a demented rebel yell a la the Duane Eddy instrumentals of the 1950s and 60s. A week later, nursing a cold, I was goofing on the guitar and this riff came out, so I got it down quickly. We had lots of fun sneaking this on the tape deck at college socials. Years later I decided to re-explore this song and did a fresh new recording.....
