Story behind the song
Wrote this song before going to NYC for the first time... was jamming to this track while walking the streets, taking the bus, waiting for trains, etc. People were staring, but who cares? This song is too funky for my own self. Thank you, Stevie Wonder, for the inspiration!
Lyrics
You Feel So Right
written by peter kim and ralph dalton
Don’t be so superstitious
It’s not destiny
It’s not an accident that you are here next to me
Forget the palm readings
Look down from the stars
I fell in love with you, just as you are (oh!)
Baby, I don’t deserve you (you feel so right)
Because you feel so right, you feel wrong
So please don’t let me hurt you (you feel so right)
Because you feel so right, you feel wrong
I know I don’t deserve you (you feel so right)
Because you feel so right, you feel wrong
So I don’t wanna hurt you (you feel so right)…
Because you feel so right, you feel wrong
Forget your inhibitions
‘Cuz you can’t ignore
Your basic impulse is to come, with me and explore
So pray all you want to
Get down, get down, get down on your knees
It ain’t no sin to love you, and the Good Lord agrees
I heard they call you Crystal ‘cuz you’re so fragile
Unbreakable to me, that’s why I need you right now
I’ma drive, all night long, just to make sure that
You and I, we never turn into strangers
Tell me what you feel and what you’re afraid of
And I’ll make it disappear whenever we make love now
It’s not desire, I straight yearn
Hotter than a fire, but I’m cool and never burn
I’ma listen to you talk, I ain’t tryin’ to take turns
‘Cuz of all the company that I keep, I crave yours
You go there, I’ll protect you from danger
You’re like a country road with your beautiful curves
‘Cuz you feel so right you feel wrong,
Because you feel so light I feel strong,
When you tilt back and throw your arms high
And open your legs wide for me, I’ll belong
