To Erick, the blues is the best genre for the ERICK HOVEY BAND to express themselves in, but isn’t limiting to his fertile imagination in arranging and peppering the music with seasonings of jazz, funk, old power trio rock, and newer folk fusion styles. everything blends together. Erick’s music takes the myriad of blues styles, THEN, fuses lyrical content that has not only good humored nods towards classic blues and rock clichés’, but spans the afterlife, and existentialism as well. Sometimes it’s spooky, sometimes it’s raw, spiritual, and sensual everything for the purist and the novice as well. The ERICK HOVEY BAND members include Jeff Foreman on drums, Doug Hines on keys, Dan Lodden on bass, and Erick on guitar and vocals. This is a band who has been working together in every facet of the music business with the utmost professionalism for many years. The Erick Hovey band has created their own sound with their own songs and provides a unique listening experience that can be heard nowhere else.

Lyrics
THOUSAND TIMES 4:05 By Erick Hovey If I had a time machine I’ll tell you what I’d do I’d comb through the centuries Looking for you One pair of souls, in a spirals climb We meet again, a tryst in time The circle has no end My infinite friend CHORUS: And I’d find you, there in time And I’d find you, a hundred times And I’d find you, a thousand times And a thousand times We’d meet as lovers do Somewhere before, in a pulse of time We meet again, and the sun will shine Flowers bloom and flowers die Then we cry Time flows on it passes by I’m goin where a soul can fly I’m goin where yours has been To take a ride, And take a ride CHORUS: (repeat) © 2009 Erick Hovey (BMI) 2222 120th Street, Ft.
